Job Summary

This hands on position will supervise the movement, distribution and storage of materials Finished goods within the company.  Ensuring customer product is ready for shipment. 

 

Duties:

  • Work with various departments as required to support customer deliveries.

  • Directs Shipping Department team on all loads and assigns tasks to ensure everything is completed in a timely manner. 

  • Needs to be punctual and maintain good attendance.

  • Promotes Teamwork

  • Assist in the training of team members to meet established standards

  • This position will work closely with the Logistics Coordinator and Shipping/Inventory Specialist to ensure product loads are ready for customer shipment.

  • Responsible for inventory accuracy in the warehouse and ensuring transactions are happening at time of material movement.

  • Occasional need to back up co-workers and Logistics Coordinator and work with Trucking Companies.

  • Professional interactions with all people both at company and in the field on job sites, works closely with management to ensure customer expectations are consistently attained. 

  • Support cycle counting and monitoring movement of company product

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Willing to fill in for customer deliveries if and when needed. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years with proven ability to perform job

  • Proven experience in leading a team

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task

  • Computer experience with various software

  • Knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Displays a sense of urgency for internal an external customers.

  • Able to organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Strong one on one and group communication skills

  • Valid Driver’s license

  • Hours may vary depending upon workload
