
To coordinate the efficient flow of customized products through your team. Responsible to know your projects inside and out! Acquaint yourself with the overall aspects of the projects, assigned to your work group. This includes dates, material status, specs, quality expectations, and manpower requirements.
Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of high-quality craftsman manufacturing methods.

Commitment to maintaining high levels of orderliness, efficiency, quality and training.

Knowledge of Wisconsin Built’s methods, machine capabilities and limitations.

Strong one-on-one and group communications skills

Strong skills of observation and planning, to maintain orderly and equally distributed workloads for each of your employees.

Adept or willing to learn current and new computer requirements. (Excel, Word, Email, M1, etc…).

Assist in the engineering & design of fixtures.

Assist in the training & development of current & new team members
-
Complete various skill level tasks in a given time period, with members of your team, adjusting for changing priorities.

Work closely with production manager/supervisor to insure customer expectations are consistently and completely attained.
Responsibilities:

Monitor jobs on shop floor to insure timely completion

Develop solutions to problems in a timely manner

Organize jobs according to the current production schedule

Maintain a professional image to customers and employees

Follow and enforce procedures in the company handbook and other documents

Effectively communicate the sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks

Provide good leadership to all employees

Assures safe and efficient methods are being utilized to produce our products.

Assist Project Managers with any needed information or methods of manufacturing

Relay information from the Project Managers or Production Meetings to those within your group that will need the information

Make educated decisions for your group in absence of managers

Head of Quality Control for your assigned group

Promotes teamwork, encourages support and contributions to the organization, promotes the active participation and suggestions of others.

Effectively communicates with both internal and external customers.

Reports directly to the production manager/supervisor

Ability to read blueprints / drawings

Ability to motivate, counsel, and direct those within their work group

Understands correct machine set ups and correct tool usage for a wide variety of woodworking equipment.

Have leadership ability and be able to work well with many different personalities
