
Wisconsin Built, a manufacturer of custom casework and restaurant/retail store fixtures has an opening in our Logistics Inventory Team.
The goal of the Logistics Inventory Coordinator is to coordinate / organize the shipping schedule upon receiving a truck request from the Project Manager, working in coordination with the Shipping Lead to utilize all resources, in an effort to meet quality and shipment standards. Responsible to know projects inside and out, in order to provide optimal shipments. This includes dates, product status, and quality expectations. This information is obtained from the Project Managers, weekly meetings, and schedules. Responsible for overall Finished Goods Inventory, working with the Shipping / Inventory Lead.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

Proficient forklift skills.

Ability to deliver customer loads when necessary.

Prepare shipping quotes for Project Managers / Customers.

Specialist to ensure all inventory transactions are completed timely and accurately, including cycle counts

Provides back up duties for Shipping Team Leader and Shipping / Inventory Specialist during absence(s) including enforcing company policies and scheduling work for the Team.

Has the advanced knowledge and proper methods for handling our product to provide support to the Shipping Team Leader.

Proficient in properly using load lists and recognizing product to provide support to the Shipping Lead.

Work with trucking companies to adjust logistic needs to maintain a flexible schedule for our customers.

Able to complete complex tasks or multiple tasks, while consistently meeting the time constraints and quality standards, while adjusting for changing priorities.

Problem Solving – keeping an open mind and suggesting improvement ideas to streamline our overall shipping methods.

Minimum Qualifications

2 – 5 years prior Logistic/Inventory Control Experience

Ability to deliver customer loads when necessary.

Prepare shipping quotes for Project Managers / Customers.

Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment

Displays a sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks.

Professional interactions with all people both here and in the field on job sites.

Strong communication skills

Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with other functional areas at all levels.

Able to handle frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines and handle conflict in an effective manner.
