Wisconsin Built, a manufacturer of custom casework and restaurant/retail store fixtures has openings in our Engineering Department. Our drafting and engineering group is responsible for converting concepts to manufacturing documents using AutoCAD & Inventor as tools to clearly convey manufacturing methods and materials to our customers and shop floor. Based on your experience, you will be considered for one of four positions reflecting your education and experience. Beginning with Drafter and progressing through Sr. Drafter, Engineer, and Sr. Engineer you are able to demonstrate your knowledge of all aspects of the woodworking industry.
A high level of importance is placed on the process of understanding project requirements and productively translating them to manufacturing documents. Duties and Responsibilities

Read and accurately interpret architectural and interior design drawings.

Review and understand contracted scope of work.

Collaborate with team members to accurately complete engineering tasks in a timely manner.

Produce installation details to meet design contracted items.

Provide assistance to Project Managers and Production Manager to resolve project challenges and deadlines to the satisfaction of the client.

Complete special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
-
3-5 years experience preferred in using AutoCAD or Inventor within architectural mill work field. However we are willing to train.

Proficient in use of Microsoft Excell.

Knowledge of architecture mill work and casework production methods. helpful. "Hands on" wood shop and/or cabinet maker experience a big plus.

Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

3D modelling knowledge a plus.

Ability to interact with people at all levels of responsibility.
