LISTEN

Engage with the customer to understand their needs.
Actively listen to the customer to ensure the final product meets their design intent.
Assess if the scope of work is a good fit for both companies.

VALUE ENGINEER

Eliminate unnecessary complexity from the product design while maintaining design integrity.
Clearly define the scope of work.

DESIGN & PRE-PRODUCE

Dive deep into shop drawings and introduce project managers to the process.
Conduct site visits (if applicable) and complete drawings, including submittal, redline and final approval.
Complete this phase within four to six weeks.

PROJECT MANAGE

Establish critical dates and assign responsibility.
Provide a dedicated project team.

PROCURE

Acquire all necessary materials and initiate pre-production activities.

ENGINEER

Prepare router programs and ready the project for handoff to the shop floor for fabrication.
Create mockups when necessary.
Conduct handoff meetings between the engineering and production teams.

PRODUCE

- Produce high-quality custom casework tailored to the client’s specifications.
- Manufacture retail fixtures that meet exact design and functional requirements.

FABRICATE

- Deploy skilled tradespeople and craftsmen to carry out the fabrication of all components.

ENSURE QUALITY

- Implement a quality assurance system to check every part at every stage of the process.
- Follow a “No Fault Forward” approach to prevent errors from moving through production.

STAGE

- Compare finished products to original plans.

PACKAGE

- Label and palletize products.
- Load materials strategically to ensure efficient installation on site.

SHIP

- Utilize a white-glove delivery process using Wisconsin Built’s own fleet of trucks.

INSTALL

- Assist the customer’s installation vendor as needed.
